raisin is a rapidly growing SaaS company purpose-built for the nonprofit sector. Our platform supports fundraising efforts for over 300 causes tackling critical challenges from mental health to animal welfare, food security, curing disease, and international development.
We are looking for a driven, disciplined, and resilient Business Development Representative to help build predictable, high-quality pipeline for our sales team. This role is ideal for someone with prior outbound prospecting experience who is ready to operate in a high-performance SaaS environment.
What You Will Do
- Drive high-volume outbound prospecting across email, phone, LinkedIn, and creative channels
- Consistently generate qualified discovery meetings with ideal customer profile organizations
- Run effective discovery conversations to assess fit, urgency, decision process, and qualification criteria
- Maintain strict qualification standards so only confirmed ICP opportunities move forward
- Track all activity with disciplined CRM hygiene and accurate reporting
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives to strengthen targeting and messaging
- Experiment with outreach strategies and continuously refine what converts
What Strong Performance Looks Like
- High daily outbound activity with consistent follow-through
- 14 confirmed ICP-qualified discovery meetings per month
- Accurate CRM management with no gaps in activity or opportunity tracking
- Clear communication of qualification rationale and next steps
Who You Are
- Experienced outbound prospector with prior SaaS or B2B cold outreach experience
- Comfortable making cold calls and initiating conversations with senior nonprofit leaders
- Disciplined and metrics-driven, understanding that activity and follow-through drive results
- Strong discovery caller who can confidently determine qualified versus unqualified opportunities
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail in CRM management
- Resilient and self-motivated, viewing rejection as part of the process
- Takes ownership of results while contributing to a collaborative, transparent team culture
- Energized by building a long-term career in sales
What You Will Bring
- 1 to 3 years of experience in outbound sales or business development
- Proven track record of generating qualified meetings through proactive outreach
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort working in CRM systems such as HubSpot
- Experience in SaaS or the nonprofit sector is an asset
- Bilingual English and French is a plus

Compensation
$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
